1975 Bultaco Alpina Model 137 Project

This page will document my process steps while restoring this Bultaco. One major advantage is the 250cc two-stroke engine had a recent top-end rebuild and seems to be running and shifting as it should.  So no additional work on the engine is planned at this time.

Goals

1.  Restore this motorcycle to as original as possible so that it is once again as pristine as it was in its glory days back in the mid 1970's.

2. This will not be a museum quality restoration as I intend to ride it and share it with my granchildren on the trails in and around Manhattan, Kansas!

As-Purchased Photo Gallery

The 250cc two-stroke motor is running strong and will not receive any additional work.
